A Royal Albert tea trio in the ever-popular "Memory Lane" pattern. Each item is largely plain white with borders decorated with sprigs of forget-me-nots in various shades of blue and purple. The cup is in the well-known Montrose shape. This pattern was produced from 1965 to 2007. While I cannot date the back stamp precisely, the fact that it does not have a copyright date indicates that it is an earlier example made in England.
Condition: All three pieces are in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or grazing that I can detect. The gilding is intact everywhere. The only issue is that the colours of the flowers on the plate is a shade lighter than those on the cup and saucer – see the last photo for a comparison.
Dimensions: The cup measures about 8.7 cm across the rim and is 7 cm high. The saucer is 14 cm across and the cake plate 16 cm.
Postage: R55 parcel post with tracking number with SAPO, or else R100 with Postnet branch-to-branch. While I undertake to package the item very carefully, I cannot be held responsible for damage in transit. Combinations are done at R10 extra per item. FREE postage through SAPO for porcelain orders of R500 or more.
Please study the photos below carefully as they do form part of the description. Feel free to ask any questions. I retain the right to delete bids from new buyers or buyers with negative feedback. Payment is expected within three days or else the item will be re-listed and a SNC filed.
