ROYAL ALBERT OLD COUNTRY ROSES LARGE TEAPOT

This is a much sought after Royal Albert large (8 cups) teapot.

The gold rims are in an almost new condition. All the gilding is good with no sign of wear.

This teapot is FACTORY FIRST QUALITY, and has no scratches through the mark at the back to signify that it is a second quality.

It measures 9 3/4¿inches (25 cm)¿from spout to handle x 7 1/2¿inches (19¿cm) tall to the top of the finial on the lid.

The teapot was made in England, while now all new Royal Albert china pieces are made in the East!!!!

It is in an excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or other marks.

This lovely teapot has the pretty Old Country Roses design upon it and has the stamp on the underneath with the wording of

'Old Country Roses, Royal Albert, bone china, England, and ¿ 1962 Royal Albert Ltd.'

This mark or backstamp (see photo above) is the one in use between 1962 and 1973.
