Info: Royal Albert Pattern Number ROAQUM, with Pink and Gray Roses and Gray Green Leaves with scalloped edge around the beautifully decorated plate that would like fantastic on the tea service table. Produced in the late 1950's and 1960's. The story of Royal Albert stretches back over 150 years ago. Whilst the Royal Albert brand was created in 1904, its roots are to be found in the Albert works, built in 1846. The Albert works were named after Queen Victorias consort, Prince Albert, whom she married in 1840. The Albert Works specialised in affordable tea, breakfast and dessert wares with floral designs. In 2005 Wedgwood completed its takeover of Royal Doulton acquiring the 'Royal Albert' brand. Wedgwood itself was placed in receivership in 2008, however 'Royal Albert' is still a core brand of its current owner WWRD Holding Ltd. Condition: Very Good, no chips, cracks or crazing on the cake plate, the gold trim and pattern is in very good condition. Very minor signs of use on the plate. Price: R 395.00 Inc Vat.
