A Royal Albert tea trio in the ever-popular “Sweet Violets” pattern. The cup, saucer and cake plate each features a band of small violets merrily trailing around it. The inside of the cup also has a posy of violets. The edges are all gilded. The cup is in the Montrose shape. This popular pattern was produced from 1966 to 2001. This trio is likely to be an older example.

All three pieces are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. The gilding is perfect and the colours bright and cheerful.

Dimensions: The cup measures about 8.7 cm across (excluding the handle) and is 7 cm high. The diameter of the saucer is about 13.8 cm and that of the cake plate 15.8 cm.
