A tea trio by Royal Albert in the Malvern cup shape. Although it does not state the pattern name on the back stamps, these pieces are in the grey version of the “Trellis” pattern that was popular from the 1930s-1950s. These particular trios likely date from the 1940s. They are in good condition for their age with no chips, cracks or grazing and with only slight rubbing to the gilding (chiefly on the cup rims – see the last photo). The cup is about 6.7cm high (to the rim) and 8.8cm across (excluding the handle). The saucer is approximately 13.8cm across and 1.8cm high. The cake or side plate is about 15.8cm across.
