The artist of this magnificent piece was Christian Thomsen whose signature is on the side of the oval base. See last photo. Regrettably the artist is deceased and the figurine has been discontinued. It was in all likelihood produced between 1924 and 1934 and is a true collectable treasure. The condition is mint. Note the stamp is impressed and stamped on the base.

The height is 24 cm and the oval base measures 18 cm X 11.5 cm.
