Royal Copenhagen 'Frijsenborg' Oval Platter 

This lovely, very good quality small porcelain platter was manufactured by the well-known 'Royal Copenhagen' factory in Denmark, in the classic 'Frijsenborg' pattern. It is beautifully decorated with a bunch of colourful spring flowers in the centre, and small sprigs of flowers around the edge. The platter is molded with a basket weave around the border and a scalloped edge with gold trim, with a deep centre. The pattern, now discontinued, was in production from 1930 to 1994. It has the Royal Copenhagen stamp on the back and an impressed shape number '1555'. The platter is in excellent condition and measures 31cm x 23,5cm.
