On offer is a beautiful 'Old Leeds Sprays' teapot from Royal Doulton. While the pattern (597783) and D number (D3548) date to around 1912 the backstamp dates this item to about 1923-1932
The base of the teapot is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. The inside of the teapot is virtually factory-fresh. The only light discoloration comes from the unsealed rim around the base. The lid unfortunately has a chip to the inside of the internal rim, which is unseen when the lid is on, and a crack on one half of the upper surface and wall and partly down the other wall. (please see pics) It also has crazing.
A really lovely item!
