Royal Doulton Art Deco Serving Bowl Pattern D5026 Viridian Ware Made in England
Beautiful Royal Doulton Art Deco serving or fruit bowl in pattern D5026. This design forms part of Royal Doultons Viridian ware line produced during the late 1920s to 1930s and is characterised by its distinctive colour palette of vibrant green borders with stylised foliage and deep blue flowers.
The bowl has an elegant elongated oval form with softly scalloped edges and a rich green rim. The interior decoration features scrolling leaves and blue floral motifs typical of the Art Deco period, giving the piece a striking decorative appearance.
The base carries the Royal Doulton lion and crown backstamp together with the pattern number D5026 confirming manufacture in England during the early 20th century.
A very attractive decorative piece that displays beautifully and works equally well as a fruit bowl, serving dish or centrepiece. Pieces from the Viridian ware line are particularly sought after by collectors of Royal Doulton Art Deco ceramics.
