Another wonderful Dickens character. Joe, the Fat Boy, was the lazy glutton who worked as servant to Mr Wardle, in the Pickwick Papers.
This jug is the rare intermediate size, issued only between 1938 and 1948 and was designed by Leslie Harradine and Harry Fenton.
It is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or crazing, and is 10cm high.
