Rare Doulton jug, not so much the rarity of the character but more so the translucent china body, as opposed to the earthenware. Translucent jugs are listed as 50 % more than the earthenware versions

the first photo is taken with a light inside & as can be seen it is translucent

6 & 1/2" tall mint condition, marked "(lion ) (crown) made in england royal doulton england Neptune D6548 copr. 1960 doulton & co. limited rd. no etc..."

Due to the 50 K picture restrictions my photo's are not the best & don't do the item justice, I pack very well! Buyer pays Shipping. I travel to Jhb once a month & the item can be collected from me there (randburg/ sandton area). Shipping should be about R 35
