Description
A Royal Doulton large character jug titled The Antique Dealer, model D6807. This special edition piece was designed by Geoff Blower as part of The Collecting World series, issued in 1989. The jug features the likeness of a knowledgeable antique dealer, complete with a pewter-finished flintlock pistol forming the handle. The reverse of the jug is inscribed with "The Dealer." Limited to a special edition of 5,000 pieces, this collectible is marked with the Royal Doulton backstamp on the underside.
