I HAVE MERELY TITLED THIS LOVELY RARE VASE - "CITY FLOWER MERCHANT" BASED ON THE IMAGE WITH WHICH THE VASE HAS BEEN DECORATED SINCE ALL ATTEMPTS TO LOCATE THIS PARTICULAR PATTERN HAVE BEEN IN VAIN

THE VASE WAS MANUFACTURED BY ROYAL DOULTON DURING THE 1930's AND IS DECORATED WITH A CITYSCAPE IMAGERY DEPICTING A SEATED WOMAN WITH BASKETS OF FLOWERS AROUND HER WHO APPEARS TO BE SELLING FLOWERS TO A SECOND WOMAN STANDING BEFORE HER TABLE. IN THE BACKGROUND THE CITY ITSELF IS VISIBLE

STAMPS/MARKS ETC : THE VASE IS STAMPED UNDERNEATH - "MADE IN ENGLAND, ROYAL DOULTON, ENGLAND"

CONDITION : THE VASE HAS A VERY FAINT HAIRLINE ON THE RIM WHICH IS 8cm IN LENGTH, AS WELL AS AGE RELATED CRAZING. ASIDE FROM THIS THE ITEM HAS NO DAMAGES, CHIPS OR OTHER CRACKS
