Royal Doulton 'Top o' the Hill' (Red) Figurine - HN1834 - designed by Leslie Harradine [dated between 1945 - 1959] - Unboxed

This gorgeous Royal Doulton 'Top o' the Hill' figurine, HN1834, designed by Leslie Harradine, was introduced in 1937.  It is one of Harradine's most enduringly classic creations.  She's ravishing in red from head to toe. Her colorful sash makes for a beautiful contrast, as does her white petticoat and collar.

She has the Royal Doulton Logo, Rd No 822821, the hand-written model number HN1834 and KS (the painter's initials)
I believe by the marks that she was probably made in the late 40's to early 50s. Very good condition.

Dating Royal Doulton Figurines:
From 1932 until 1945, the figurine name is printed along with registration number, but the HN number is still hand written and the  works Bone China is added to the logo.  From 1945 until 1959 the markings are the same as from 1932 - 1945, but the painters initials are added hand written and the logo crown has more spikes.
