Royal Doulton 'Under the Greenwood Tree' Sandwich Tray (D6094)
This attractive, 1940/50's, Royal Doulton sandwich tray from the 'Under the Greenwood Tree' series, features a colourful scene of Robin Hood and Friar Tuck under a tree and is bordered with a dark green trim. It has a lovely, rectangular shape with scalloped corners and measures 28cm x 14,5cm with a height of 2cm. The sandwich dish is in excellent condition and carries the Royal Doulton backstamp along with the special 'Under the Greenwood Tree' mark and pattern number 'D6094', as well as the impressed shape number '8099' on the back.
