VINTAGE 1951 LOT OF TWO DIFFERENT COLLECTABLE ROYAL DOULTON "DICKENS WARE" TRINKET BOWLS - MR PICKWICK & TONY WELLER

TWO COLLECTABLE VINTAGE FINE PORCELAIN BOWLS MANUFACTURED AND RELEASED BY ROYAL DOULTON IN 1951 AS PART OF THEIR "DICKENS WARE" SERIES. ALTHOUGH THE DICKENS SERIES WAS FIRST RELEASED BY ROYAL DOULTON IN 1908 IT WAS RE-RELEASED AGAIN IN SUBSEQUENT YEARS - 1918, 1931, 1937 AND FOR THE FINAL TIME IN 1951. THE TWO COLLECTABLE BOWLS IN THIS LOT ARE EACH MARKED WITH THE NUMBER - "D6327" WHICH WAS RELEASED IN 1951. THE DICKENS WARE SERIES WAS DISCONTINUED BY ROYAL DOULTON IN THE LATE 1950's

THE LOT CONSISTS OF A MR.PICKWICK BOWL AS WELL AS A TONY WELLER BOWL ALL DECORATED IN COLORFUL PASTEL STYLE COLORS

EACH OF THE TWO BOWLS DEPICTS A CHARACTER FROM THE AUTHOR CHARLES DICKENS, FROM HIS BOOK "THE PICKWICK PAPERS"

STAMPS/MARKS ETC : EACH ITEM IS STAMPED UNDERNEATH WITH THE "ROYAL DOULTON" STAMP AND THE ROYAL DOULTON DICKENS WARE STAMP AS WELL AS THE TITLE OF THE CHARACTER DEPICTED UPON THE ITEM AND THE SERIES NUMBER

CONDITION : BOTH BOWLS ARE IN PERFECT CONDITION HAVING NO CRAZING, CRACKS, CHIPS OR DAMAGES ETC

SIZE : EACH - 2.6cm HEIGHT.....8cm DIAMETER OF BASE.....13.6cm DIAMETER OF RIM
