Bold and expressive Royal Doulton character jug from The Celebrity Collection, portraying legendary American comedian W.C. Fields. Model D6674, this hand-made, hand-decorated jug was created in 1982 as a Premiere Edition for American Express. Featuring Fields in his signature top hat and flowered lapel, the handle cleverly shaped as a walking cane, this piece captures the humor and persona of the famed entertainer. The base includes a printed quote in classic Fields style: "I was in love with a beautiful blonde once. She drove me to drink � tis the one thing I'm indebted to her for." A memorable and collectible tribute to a Hollywood icon, ideal for Royal Doulton and classic film memorabilia collectors. The base features the Royal Doulton backstamp.
