There was only one person who could possibly create such a figurine and Royal Staffordshire were honoured when Thelma Madine, the famous dress designer from Channel 4’s “My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding”, agreed to design her. Working with super-talented sculptor Neil Welch, Thelma’s creation has been translated into the ultimate bride figurine.

Based on one of Thelma’s iconic designs, The Princess & The Frog dress, Gypsy Bride is not only stunningly beautiful, she is the largest figurine that Royal Staffordshire has ever produced. Just like the brides from the TV series, Royal Staffordshire’s Gypsy Bride has pushed the boundaries! She wears a pearlescent lustred bodice that shimmers in the daylight, pulling in at her waist and accentuating the huge lily-pad inspired skirts.

Gypsy Bride’s gown is so large that production has proved a challenge for both the sculptor & the Royal Staffordshire craftsmen, she is possibly the most breathtaking figurine we’ve ever seen.

Set with over 30 sparkling Swarovski crystals and real platinum
To make her even more authentic, each Gypsy Bride has been hand-set with over 30 sparkling Swarovski crystals and any slight movement makes her catch the light & shimmer. The edges of the petals of her skirt and the hems of her gloves have been edged with real platinum, all applied by hand.
