Description

This 1950's Royal Winton "Gurgling Jug", said to be inspired by Clarice Cliff, is sometimes referred to as a Glug Glug Jug. The "Gurgling Jug" gets it's name from the sound it makes. When the Jug is filled with liquid, air is trapped in the fish's tail. Whilst the liquid is poured the air produces a gurgle.

Condition

This Vibrant Jug is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration noted. Consistent with age, there is a little faint fine clean crazing which is mentioned for accuracy.

Dimensions

It measures 13.0 cm belly to fin, 9.0 cm in width and 22.0 cm in height.
