Royal Winton Queen Anne Chintz Butter Dish and Cover, 2995, c.1936, England, Excellent

A 1936 vintage Royal Winton Queen Anne Chintz butter dish and cover. Designed in the needlepoint with the gilded rim strip. This style reached its peak from the early 1940s to late 1950s. Light greenish colour exterior with cream interior. Green maker's stamp "Royal Winton", "Queen Anne" mark of the style in blue ink to base.

Measures: 16 cm in length and 6 cm tall

Condition: Very good without damages, hair-cracks, fractures or repairs. Minor flaws include normal cracks in the surface glaze or "crazing", consistent with age, which looks like a network of fine lines. Butter lid has some light-brown discoloration present between the glazed craze lines on the interior, minor adhesive staining confined to underside on the lid's rim, Light wear to the transfer and gilding is consistent with use and history.

Outlying areas will incur additional turn around time. Please provide a physical address (home or work), PO Boxes are not accepted. There is no insurance for this Aramex service due to legal limitations. This service costs a flat fee of R100. Please add any remaining amount to the balance during checkout so that delivery totals R100.
