In 1756 printing on porcelain was invented. From that point on Royal Worcester became renowned for its exquisite, highly decorated wares. Earning its first royal commission to the Duke of Gloucester in 1770, then in 1789 George III awarded them the first royal warrant, which allowed it to use the Royal Coat of Arms and the words, "Manufacturers to their Majesties".This is a vintage Tuscan England cup and saucer
The pieces are accented in hand applied 24K gold; the cup is on the rim and handle, while the saucer is around the rim.
