All coins are in condition and most of the nickel coins are AUNC to UNC

Includes 1968 short proof set !!!

The collection was formed by the collector to cover all RSA coins issued for general circulation from 1965 to 1997 and also includes all the silver rands from 1965 Bar Afrikaans R1, includes all R1 1965 to 1976 except Afrikaans R1

Some non-circulating issues like all the ½ cent coins are also included but commemorative coins like the Mandela Inauguration and Protea series are not included.

The vendor collected one coin for each language for the bilingual years (1965 to 1969) and then two coins of each year from 1970 to 1997.

As an example, for the R1 coins there are one coin for each language up to 1969 (bar 1965 A) and then 2 coins for every year after that - there are thus 2 silver R1 coins for every year after 1969 up to 1976 and also two nickel R1 coins for every year after 1976.

There are only three coins missing from the collection being the 1965 R1 Afrikaans,  1965 English 50c and 1965 Afrikaans 1c.
