In the Primer level your child will learn not only how to write numerals but also addition and subtraction, basic counting, skip counting, geometric shapes, telling time, and they will be introduced to the manipulative block system. Its a gentle introduction to "doing math."

Special Note about the Manipulatives regarding the Digital Pack.
The physical manipulatives are an integral part of the Math-U-See instructional method and have been for more than 25 years. We do understand, however, that they can be difficult for families that are on the go and that they have physical limitations when building large problems. While instructors and students can use the digital version to build problems just as they would with the physical, we strongly believe that the digital should be used as a supplement after students have demonstrated understanding of the concept using the physical manipulatives.
