In the hierarchy of the berry kingdom, raspberries have ascended to the position of royalty. These berries are so delicate that they don't travel well and are rarely found at the market, but if you have tasted them, you'll know you want some. Raspberry seed is not the easiest of seed to get growing, but cold stratification for a month will help.
Raspberry plants are best grown against a trellis or other support as the canes do not readily stay upright. Very well draining soil is required.
