The "Holy Grail" of Russell YoYos - a1967 Special Executive yo-yo made in Australia. 

 

The story behind these ultra rare ySpecial Executive Yoyos, as far as I can find on the internet. 

"It is understood only 200 or less were made and presented to Coca Cola executives in 1967. In 1970 a small sum were found in storage and later given to members of the public as competition prizes and some local celebrities were given them with their own names engraved upon the reverse side of the yo-yo. They are commonly acknowledged as the rarest of Australian made yo-yos." Quoted from Kangaroodog

 

This yoyo is in near perfect condition, as you can see on the 5th picture there is slight crazing in the plastic below the "yoyo" word. The marks on the silver casing of the yoyo are the moulding marks. It still has the slight bumps and dots from the moulding process. It looks as if the yoyo has never been used, or ever walked-the-dog as can be seen from the other images. Please view all images as they form part of the description.
