Beautiful hand-painted Russian lacquer box decorated in a striking turquoise, red and gold floral and paisley pattern. The design flows across the curved lid, sides and feet, creating a richly detailed and traditional look. The interior is finished in deep black lacquer.
This is a generously sized box suitable for display, jewellery, keepsakes or decorative storage. Hinged lid opening smoothly. The painting is vibrant with fine detailing, showing the classic Russian miniature style. The box does show signs of age and use with small lacquer flakes and wear on edges, but remains a very attractive piece.
