Set of 8 Russian silver fiddle pattern teaspoons, by the famous maker Sazikov. The company was founded in 1793 and received the Imperial warrant in 1846, awarded to firms chosen to supply the Russian Imperial family. The hallmarks are clear and deep. Marks - Imperial Warrant double headed eagle, Sazikov makers mark in Cyrillic, assay masters mark B.C. for Victor Savinkov, date letter 1862, standard mark 84 (zolotniks) and the city mark for Moscow (St George slaying dragon). Total weight 220g. The spoons are in excellent condition with no dents. All spoons are engraved with the intial W. An exceptional set for the serious collector or investor.
