A special-purpose summer wet weather uniform called spetsial'nyi maskirovochnyi komplekt (SMK) were produced for MVD units and printed with a dense, four-color mottled pattern in both woodland and urban patterns. In service through much of the 1990s, the uniforms were worn by MVD spetsnaz (Vitiaz), OMON, & GUKVV counter-terrorist units.
