Shave brushes go through a tough life. Daily wet / dry cycles and regular use with a variety of soaps and creams can lead to the brush building up soap residue, and dirt. This dirt build up means the brush will not perform at it's optimal level.

RVT (River Valley Trading) shave brush cleaning soap is the solution.

We have been working with a local artisan soap maker in Durban to formulate a soap with the properties required to clean soap residue from an animal hair or synthetic shave brush. This is a locally made, high quality, and all natural shave brush cleaning soap. The anti bacterial, and conditioning properrties of the soap are perfect for use with natural animal hair brushes, as well as synthetic fibre.

(In fact, this soap can also be used for cleaning dear old Rover. It will leave his coat looking clean and shiny.)

This soap is a great option for breaking in a brand new brush, as well as bringing old brushes back to life. Your brush will be left with soft and fluffy tips - ready for use.

The shave brush cleaning soap comes as a wax wrapped 130g bar.

Ingredients: All natural blend of Coconut, Castor & Olive Oil, Salt & Borax, medley of anti-bacterial essential oils.

(No palm oil, artificial colours, micas, animal fats, sls)

How to use

Hold the soap in the palm of your hand and lather it with the brush as you would your nromal shave soap. make saur ethe soap penetrates deep into knot of the brush. Once you have a nice lather, put the soap aside, and continue ot the lather up the brush in the palm of your hand. Lather, rinse, and repeat. Rinse off the brush, and leave in a well vintlated area to dry. Your brush will be revived and ready to give to work that tight rich lather.
