• Squaring Edges: Once one face is flat, you hold that face against the jointers fence to cut a second surface (the edge) that is perfectly 90⁰ to the first
• Edge Jointing: This prepares the edges of multiple boards so they can be glued together seamlessly to make wider panels (like tabletops).
• Specialty Cuts: Beyond flattening, it can also be used for chamfering (angled edges), rabbeting (recessed notches), and tapering (thinning one end of a board).
