S.A.A.F Ceremonial Dagger

A textbook South African Air Force Ceremonial dagger, comes with a ceremonial belt buckle as pictured.

It was designed by George van Rijn and this particular example was manufactured by Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Cie. The makers mark is nicely stamped on the hilt of the blade.

These daggers was issued to WO2'S and officers and is the only dagger ever used by South African armed forces. This dagger will become more rare and sought after as all daggers in serving SANDF personel hands were recalled.

They are now issued for a parade and then must handed back.The coat of arms of the Republic was also removed. Overall good condition unfortunately belt is incomplete and needs the correct dagger hangers.
