S. Africa: 1892 ZAR 2 Shillings (Florin) NGC Certified PF64

History/Background Information: A rare and highly coveted proof striking of the ZAR florin. ZAR proofs were only struck in the year 1892, in Berlin for the ZAR. Designed and engraved by Otto Schultz, Eli Levine describes the ZAR proof issues as "exceptionally beautiful pieces". No known records exist of the number of these proof coins minted.

Certification: NGC PF64 (Near Gem Proof)

Condition Notes: A superbly crafted proof rendering of the 1892 ZAR florin. Highly reflective fields blessed with a strong cameo effect which makes the details stand out. Immensely sharp detailing present as is standard on these issues.

Mintage: 50 (Estimated)
