S. Africa (Pre-Reserve Bank): 1902 ZAR Te Velde 10 Pounds PMG Certified XF45 (Findlay Stamp)

History/Background Information: 10 Pound Te Velde issue of the ZAR government (Gouvernements Noot). Issued against the security of state owned farms with a 6% interest. Hand signed by the Acting Auditor General (AP Brugman) and Acting Treasurer General (PN De Villiers). Dated 1.4.1902 and printed on school exercise paper. Certified Choice Extremely Fine 45 by PMG.

Condition Notes: An impressive example retaining all the bold characteristics of the type. Minor creases and stains noted for accuracy. Rare and seldom offered and bearing the sought after 01.04.1902 date. Coupled with the Findlay Stamp making this a scarce and desirable type. A beautiful note with an incredible history.
