DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION
DESCRIPTION	A very decorative medium sized painting depicting WHITE ARUM LILIES IN A VASE. Painted by South African artist S du Toit in oil paint. The painting is done on artist board (fine treated canvass on hardboard) and is framed in a 1970s style wooden frame with inner frame, devided by a hardboard section. The artist has signed the artwork at bottom left and has not dated it, but one could deduce from the frame that the artwork dates from the 1970s. The artwork measures 590 x 490 mm in the frame and the artwork alone measures 400 x 300 mm. You can see the painting as it is sold in the image above. There are four more images and further particulars below. Please have a look at them and ask a question if there is anything you are unsure about.
CONDITION	Both the artwork and frame are in good condition and it can be hung as is.

NOTES
A very well executed and decorative artwork. This painting will look great in the right setting. Unfortunately it is badly framed and the 1970s period frame does not display this attractive and well - painted artwork to it's optimum and it would look much better if re - framed in a dark and more contemporary frame.
