SA 1913 1½d used single with major interupted printing accross design. It appears that during printing a piece of paper (or similar item) got stuck on the sheet and the design was printed over this paper. After the stamp was soaked off (from envelope/card) the piece became dislodged showing the large non printed area. There is absolutely no sign of any fibre disruption which would have been caused if the surface was scratched. The outlines of the dislodged paper is very clean and clear. A major variety.
