Obverse: Bust of pioneer,signed: "PAGLIARI". Legend below: the name of the pioneer and his year of birth and death. ACCORDING TO Wikipedia, BAKER WAS AN ENGLISH ARCHITECT, BORN IN KENT, AND REMEMBERED AS THE DOMINANT FORCE IN SOUTH AFRICAN ARCHITECTURE FOR TWO DECADES. POSSIBLY MOST FAMOUS FOR DESIGNING THE UNION BUILDINGS IN PRETORIA AND GROOTE SCHUUR IN CAPE TOWN, AMONG THE MANY SCHOOLS AND CHURCHES HE DESIGNED.
