Formal wire-embroidered blazer badge of 1 Reconnaissance Regiment (1 Recce), also known as the Compass Rose badge. Used by South African Special Forces during the SADF and later SANDF era. The badge is signed by Col. Jan Breytenbach (Ret.), founding member and first commanding officer of the SADF Special Forces.
