An EXCELLENT example of RARE , Border War  1980s SADF 32 Battalion Bronze Unit Medallion Numbered . This piece appears to be in a VF+  state , with detailed Relief on  obverse and reverse.  All insignia present. Minimal Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Surface Toning evident.  Numbered 15 on obverse. 

This piece is an excellent example of a 1989 Numbered Issue , 32 Battalion Bronze Unit Medallion. These Medallions were only issued to Unit members and were produced in a limited number accordingly. 

The 32 Battalion Unit of the SADF was formed in 1976 , from former members of the FNLA and other Angolan Independence Guerilla Fighters. This formation became known as elite light Infantry troops during the latter stages of the Border War in SWA/ Angola. 

The ideal addition to any SADF/ SWATF  Border War Era memorabilia  collection or display- for the enthusiast seeking a unique period piece for their assortment.
