• SA38. Southern Africa Medal - Nickel silver - 32mm central black stripe of 12mm centered with 2mm white stripe, flanked on either side with a 5mm red and 5mm yellow stripe - Type I uniface suspender
• SA39. General Service Medal - Nickel silver - 32mm, 6mm navy blue stripe, 2mm white stripe, 7mm orange stripe, 2mm navy blue stripe, then the first three stripes repeated in reverse
