Here on auction we have an SADF era Patt 80 ripstop canvas "donkey brown" butt-pack uses ALICE clips very good intact condition.

This pattern 80 kit is very sought after due to it being only limited issue to SA Army Para pathfinders and Recce units for testing in the early 1980's. The butt pack is one of the most sought after pieces in the kit ensamble. This piece although used is in great condition and 100% intact without any damage or much fading. 2 x ALICE clips present.

EB's kit on display (from the 32 Bn recce wing time frame) at the War musuem in Jhb has the same type of butt pack attached at the rear.
