Depicting flashes of selected S.A.I. Battalions 1966 - 1989 as well as Infantry School and Army HQ.

Includes a strip of different Company shoulder patch identification drawings at the bottom. 

SIZE: 42 X 29 cm on thick 200 gsm matt white stock paper with a white border all round.

These Units operated during the South African Bush War 1966 - 1989

1 SAI, 2 SAI, 3 SAI, 4 SAI, 5 SAI, 6 SAI, 7 SAI, 8 SAI, 1 SACC, 2 SACC, Equestrian, Dog Unit , Infantry School, Army HQ (Headquarters) and the State President's Guard (two versions)

The SAI "Bokkop" beret badge is illustrated to the right of the SADF Infantryman illustration running into action with an R4 assault rifle. the Bokkop was mofied with the two horns touching as it was tradition in those days.

Underneath the caption is the 7.62 mm R1 rifle based on the FN made in Belgium
