An original SADF medal group to Rfn Joseph Kassanga - No: 84720119PE. All medals confirmed in his records although the medal number for the GSM in his records is not the same as the one in the group. Might have lost it somewhere and replaced it himself?? I have his service record which indicates the operations he participated in (see photo). A copy of his ID document is also part of the records.
In The terrible Ones book, Rfn Kassanga is confirmed wounded in action in one of the operations (see photo). Worthy of even more research. Medals are court-mounted for display. The book is not part of the sale!!!!
