SADF nutria flap-cap "para" - new unused condition (size XL) - fits as a 60/61

Here we have on auction a new/ unused/ unissued SADF era basic std nutria flap-cap as worn by some units and sold at some unit canteens/ SAWI shops.

PLEASE NOTE that this cap has had a 1 Para Bn "mot" added (embroidered direct on to the cap) to the front panel - see pic below;

These flap-caps were favourite wear for many troopies and a sought-after alternative to the std issus SADF short-brim bush-hats.

Here we see the type of cap being worn by a member (tracker) of 907 SSC whilst sitting on the front of a CASSPIR searching for spoor.......

Many units also sold a cloth type unit badge that members would sew onto the front panel of these caps for unit identity, as we see here with two members of 907 SSC;

The cap is size "X-large" and fits as a 60/61.
