This is an authentic South African Defence Force (SADF) Ordnance Services School shoulder flash from the Border War era.
The badge carries the Latin motto SINE NOBIS NIHIL, meaning Without Us, Nothing.
Its central emblem shows a flaming torch interlaced with a knot, based on the British Ordnance Corps symbol.
This flash was worn by personnel attached to the SADFs Ordnance Services School, responsible for training in ordnance, supply, and technical services.
