Here we have what I believe to be a small "drogue" parachute likely to have been used by 101 Air supply unit when dispatching loads from C130/ Dak/ Casa aircraft during aerial resupply missions in support of SF and Parabats.
The set consists of a small parachute silk olive green canopy, risers, a strap and a small "stow-away" bag.
Ites were packed in plastic when I received them - removed for the photos.
These items seem to have gotten wet/damp whilst in storage, some metal parts have slight surface rust/corrosion and minor cloth covers on the snap-buckle are "rotten", the parachute is however in excellent condition as is the rest - all straps and risers (para-cord) are in excellent and usable condition.
