This extraordinary, rare chest webbing, in excellent unused condition, was not a standard issue. It is a unique piece that became available from a former SAPS Riot Unit member's private collection during the unstable 1984/85 political climate in South Africa.

It is made from genuine SADF Nutria fabric and designed to be more unobtrusive to its wearer. It has enough capacity for First Aid supplies, rifle and pistol magazines, and a 9mm service pistol.

This rig was designed for the R4 (Galil) 5.56mm rifle but should also be compatible with a wide range of magazines, including AR, AK, G3, and FAL. Similarly, the pistol pouch was designed for the 9 mm Beretta Service Pistol, but will also accommodate any other size, like the service Beretta pistol.
