Type: Standardissue steel helmet with internal liner, chin strap, and fitted camouflage net
Origin: South Africa issued to SADF personnel
Era: Approx. 1960s1980s (Border War period)
This is an original SADF steel helmet, complete with its period camouflage net, used for foliage attachment and field concealment. The helmet retains its steel shell, internal liner, and chin strap, making it a solid example of South African military equipment from the Border War era.
Condition
Condition: Good vintage condition with normal servicerelated wear.
Exterior: Steel shell shows light scuffs, paint wear, and age patina.
Camouflage net: Intact and securely fitted; ageappropriate fading.
Interior: Liner and chin strap present with expected wear and marks.
Structure: No major cracks or structural damage observed.
Sold asis as a vintage collectable.
