This was issued to my Dad at Swellendam Commando in 1985. I personally accompanied him back then, when he went to fetch the items from their stores. So it is the real deal.
The unit was situated in Robertson, Western Cape.
This beret badge and metal flash was unfortunately only found later in another box, and was therefore not auctioned with the beret, stable belt and metal flash in the previous auction.
