The Red Peter Pepper (sometimes referred to as the Penis pepper due to its phallic appearance when fully grown) is a heirloom chilli that is best known for its unusual shape. This pepper gets people talking and is very rare. It is mainly an ornamental pepper but it also has good flavour with considerable heat level - 5000 - 30000 Scoville units. A dense plant that grows to 50 - 75 cm high. The fruit is wrinkled and has a round tip with a cleft, measuring approximately 10 cm in length and 2 - 3 cm in width.
