Patterned after the Gibson J-160E acoustic-electrics that were the perennial Beatles workhorses.

The signature model EJ-160E features:

- John Lennon signature

- advanced Jumbo sloped-shoulder body shape

- solid spruce top

- mahogany back and sides

- chunky solid mahogany neck

- rosewood fingerboard and bridge

The EJ-160E's neck has the fat, rounded feel of many late-Fifties era Gibson electrics.

A mini humbucking pickup is seated discreetly between the end of the guitar's fretboard and sound hole, while the volume and tone controls are located on the guitar's lower bout, as they would be on a standard electric guitar.

This model was John Lennon's favourite guitar and wrote and performed many of the famous hit songs that have gone down in music history. This was the only guitar to be featured on all the recordings of the Beatles' albums.
